  • MPA logoMembership in the MPA is open to any administrator...anywhere.
  • We would be happy to attend a district administrator meeting to give you additional information or answer questions.
  • The MPA started in 1984 when a group of school administrators from several different districts started talking about the type of staff development they would like to have, but wasn't available.
  • The programs and activities are based on the research findings of effective leadership.
  • Our members determine specific topics and interest groups for each year.
  • The MPA governing board membership is made up primarily of principals or assistant principals.
Celebrating the Power of Experience, Serving Members for over 31 years!

  • The MPA receives no federal or state funding of any type. All MPA revenue comes from memberships and registration.
  • The components of the MPA are: the Leadership In-Service Series (4 workshops), Extended Learning Opportunities, and Collegial Groups.
  • The Leadership In-Service Series is open to all staff, community members, etc., and features nationally-acclaimed presenters offering practical advise on a variety of educational topics.
  • MPA members who are unable to attend a Leadership In-Service Series event may send a replacement.
  • New Collegial Group participants begin their year in September.
