Membership in the MPA is open to any administrator...anywhere.
We would be happy to attend a district administrator meeting to give you additional information or answer questions.
The MPA started in 1984 when a group of school administrators from several different districts started talking about the type of staff development they would like to have, but wasn't available.
The programs and activities are based on the research findings of effective leadership.
Our members determine specific topics and interest groups for each year.
The MPA governing board membership is made up primarily of principals or assistant principals.
The MPA receives no federal or state funding of any type. All MPA revenue comes from memberships and registration.
The components of the MPA are: the Leadership In-Service Series (4 workshops), Extended Learning Opportunities, and CollegialGroups.
The Leadership In-Service Series is open to all staff, community members, etc., and features nationally-acclaimed presenters offering practical advise on a variety of educational topics.
MPA members who are unable to attend a Leadership In-Service Series event may send a replacement.
New Collegial Group participants begin their year in September.
